The Book of Jeremiah

Chapter 4

Father gives us a lot of information about what will be happening during the Millennium, that thousand-year period of time when many souls will have their first opportunity at hearing the truth, with most of it contained in the last eight chapters of the book of Ezekiel. How does one have their first opportunity of hearing the truth?

Have you ever wondered what will happen to that tribe of natives, on some lost island somewhere in the great Pacific Ocean? No one came and preached the Gospel to them and if they had, they probably would have been killed and eaten. They certainly did not hear the truth from anyone.

Their souls will go through the Millennium.

There are other people who have attended a church faithfully for most of their lives. They listened to and believed in the words of their preacher. They never studied on their own and have no concept of what Father or our Lord taught. They only heard the words of men.

Their souls will go through the Millennium.

Those are just two examples of who will be taught during that period of time and it’s by the grace of Almighty God that He will see to it that EVERY soul that He ever created will have an equal opportunity at making it into the Eternity.

No one will be left out.

Father has also given us a lot of information about what the Eternity will be like, especially in Revelation, the last two chapters. But He does not give us much to think about when it comes to what it was like in the first heaven/earth age.

He does give us some jewels of knowledge in this chapter, however, beginning with verse 23, and I would take them to heart, maybe mark them in your Bible if you have one. This information coincides nicely with Genesis chapter 1, the “beginning” of creation.

You’ll also notice that verses 23, 24, 25, and 26 begin with the words “I beheld”. This is a figure of speech called an anaphora, and it means “like sentences beginnings”. It’s the repetition of the same words at the beginning of successive sentences.

The purpose is to draw your attention to those verses because, in their own way, they have an important message.

Alright, the Book of Jeremiah, chapter 4, verse 1.

Father continues from the end of the last chapter….

….before we start, some people may wonder….. if this chapter continues from chapter 3, why not just include it in chapter 3 as well? Well, you have to keep in mind that the Original Manuscripts (MSS) were not divided into chapters and verses. This book of Jeremiah had no breaks whatsoever when it was written. It was one continuous page (?) of writing from start to finish.

It was for convenience ONLY that chapters and verses became a  way of limiting the length of a particular book. Chapters were first introduced in 1227 A.D. and verses were added 300 years later.

So, if a certain subject seemed to be carried on for some time, the scholars simply broke it and began a new chapter and that subject carried over into another chapter.

Just thought you needed to know that........ in case you were wondering about it…....... even just a little.

Jeremiah 4:1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

All they have to do is to destroy their idols, stop praying to them, ask for forgiveness and come back to Him. He’s going to say that He will bring them back to their own land, even now they are under captivity, and once there He will leave them there and not remove them to another place.

And if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight. This doesn’t mean to put them in a closet or under the bed and hide them from Him, it collectively means to get rid of them entirely and forever.

And what is the greatest abomination that’s going to happen to this generation today? It’s what Daniel the prophet wrote about. He said that when you see the abomination of desolation, which should have been translated as “desolator”, standing where HE ought naught, not IT ought naught, then run for the hills around Jerusalem.

What that means is that Satan, in his role as the Antichrist, will stand in Jerusalem claiming to be the true Messiah. The abomination is that he is impersonating our Father, which will lead many, many souls into his camp of deception and possibly into the Lake of Fire.

Jeremiah 4:2 And thou shalt swear, The Lord liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

And the nations shall bless themselves in him. He will bless the nations that love and follow Him. Our Constitution was written on Biblical principals, imagine what it would look like if the politicians of today sat down and wrote it. We are on the precipice of losing His blessings if the people don’t start to stand up to the handful of communists/socialists/Democrats that are trying to run/ruin this country.

We are many, they are few. And that really doesn’t seem to matter. The only time we hear from “middle America” is when somebody conducts a poll and we are given the results, whether true or not.

Everybody that is against this country or our Father or Christianity seems to be able to find their way onto the 6:00 news EVERY evening. Why don’t some of these so-called Christians get on the news once in a while, instead of being one of the “silent majority”.

There’s no point in being in the majority if you’re going to hide in a closet constantly. Christians have to get it together and form a groundswell, a movement, to counteract these socialist/communistic people and their ideas.

Four freshmen Congresswomen, with no experience in anything except running their mouths, spewing out their socialistic hatred for this country, have turned the House of Representatives upside down.

And for every person that voted for each and every one of them, I want to ask…..what the hell were you thinking?

Jeremiah 4:3 For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem,

This is said to both the House of Israel and the House of Judah.

Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. Fallow ground is land that has been dormant for several growing seasons, it hasn’t been cultivated in years, and probably the only thing growing there are weeds and thorns. You can throw seed out there all day long and not one will germinate and become a living plant, because the ground is too hard to accept them. You have to prepare the ground before you sow seed.

You have to do the same thing with people. You can take some of your biblical knowledge and go around telling it to people and they’ll probably smile at you and then walk off and on their way.

If you do that, it’s called “casting your pearls before swine” and it does Father no good, it does them no good, and it does you no good. The soil has to be loosened a little bit beforehand, and in most cases, only the Holy Spirit can do that.

Plant a spiritual/biblical seed with people and then leave it alone. You’ve done your part. Let the Holy Spirit take it from there, let Him prepare the ground.

And sow not among thorns. Read the parable of the sower, given to us by our Lord in Matthew 13:3-8. That’s a good home assignment for you to take on and you’ll understand about the thorns.

Jeremiah 4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

And take away the foreskins of your heart. At the present time, their heart or mind is hardened like the ground in the prior verse. Break up your fallow heart and let the Holy Spirit come in and allow you to change the way you think because if they keep doing what they’ve been doing, Father’s anger is going to spread across the country like a wildfire and no one will be able to put it out.

This is not just written to Judah, it’s written to us today as well, and it’s a spiritual circumcision, not a physical one. Figuratively, you should cut off the evil and the treachery and whatever else is keeping us from the Father.

Jeremiah 4:5 Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.

This is a warning from our Father. Alert the people! Let them know that if they don’t change the way that they live, that destruction is forthcoming. It’s not that it is at hand but symbolically, prepare yourselves.

Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

Raise the standard and let the people throughout the countryside be aware. Who is it that is towards the north? The Assyrians. The enemy, including Satan, always comes from the north because that is the side where our Father is.

Jeremiah 4:7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

Father is laying out what the future holds for them. He’s tired of their disobedience.

Who is the destroyer of the Gentiles today? Satan, as the Antichrist. And his spiritual terror is not limited to the Gentile but to ALL souls. He doesn’t care who you are or where you live.

Many don’t realize it, but he works close at hand to you in the towns where you live today. Any preacher that tells you that you don’t have to understand the Bible because you’ll be raptured out of here before the bad stuff begins works for Satan.

Any preacher that allows speaking in tongues or laughing Satan out of the church or any of the nonsense that people seem to love to hear today is a preacher that works for Satan.

Any preacher that tells you that you can use the principals of the Bible to get rich with or tells you how great a person you are or how much greater you CAN be is teaching HUMANISM and it's heresy against the Word of God.

Jeremiah 4:8 For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the Lord is not turned back from us.

You might as well put your sackcloth on now, you might as well howl and wail, because when it begins, when the wrath of our Father begins to spill out, this is how you will feel.

Jeremiah 4:9 And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the Lord, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

And when that day finally comes, everyone will be surprised.

“Well, I thought He was a God of love. I really didn’t think He would do that to us.”

If anybody is thinking that, then they are indeed as dumb as they look. They are downright stupid.

When you were a child, and I’m referring to a time many, many years ago, how many times could you screw up before someone laid the leather to your butt? It wasn’t long, was it? Father has a million times more patience than your parents did but He does have His limits. Haven’t you been listening?

Can’t do that today, can you? Lay the leather to that small butt and get their attention. Nope. Someone will call 911 and YOUR butt is going to jail and that’s exactly what’s wrong with the people in this country today.

They haven’t been taught discipline or self-restraint. Say anything you want and if someone objects, call them a racist or a homophobe or a white supremacist.

I’ve never seen so many people in this country that are "offended" by darn near anything and everything that they don't agree with. And their reaction is to lash out, ridicule, physically assault, disrupt, harass, or in some way, intimidate them.

Satan himself is in the midst of the Democratic party in Washington today and his latest pawns are those four freshmen Congresswomen. Whenever one of them gets in front of a TV camera the hatred and vile words just pour out for all to see. And not only you and me, but Mr. and Mrs. America, living on their small farm out in the midwest, can and do see these people for who they truly are.

Jeremiah 4:10 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

The false prophets have promised the people peace because that’s what they want to hear. and they tell them that their words came straight from the Father. But the prophets of our Father speak of punishment and captivity and they will be killed for bringing that message forth.

Sounds like churches and people today, doesn’t it? Preach the good news, even if you have to lie to them. Tell them how wealthy our Father wants them to be. Tickle their ears with something new.

Someone else is going to promise peace to everybody and he’s coming real soon. It’s Satan as the Antichrist. He will solve all problems, take away your debt and your mortgage, perform miracles to back up his words and he will come in peaceably and prosperously…

Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. KJV

That vile person is none other than the Antichrist. He will look like, act like, speak like and walk like the true Jesus Christ because he is the master of deception. And yet most people believe that when he appears that the streets will run with blood as high as a horse’s collar. It's a lie and always has been. Control the people by fear.

And if you think that our Lord said that HE is coming in peace then read this…

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. KJV

And while the false prophets and preachers gather together on some Sunday morning and preach about peace, this will happen…

1st Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. KJV

This is when Satan/Antichrist comes in.

Everybody today is looking for the government to take care of them. ALL of the Democratic hopefuls are promising so much free stuff that the cost of it all boggles the mind and it’s impossible for it to happen, but the people still don’t care.

And if you think that Satan/Antichrist will not take full advantage of that situation, then you are fooling yourself.

Jeremiah 4:11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

This is a dry, empty wind and it will do no good because our Father is not in it. Remember that this has to do with the soul.

Not to fan, nor to cleanse. What this means is that when they have harvested the grain from the fields, they bring it in baskets into a barn with a clean floor and some of the people will take shovels and throw that grain up into the air, while others will use hand-held fans to blow the chaff off to one side, thus separating the chaff from the grain.

This wind will not be used for that purpose.

Jeremiah 4:12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

It’s time for the sentence to begin. This wind is representative of the Babylonians.

Father is angry and He’s tired of these people and their heathenistic ways of worshipping. He’s tired of cajoling and reasoning with them with no results and in just a few more verses, He’s going to let it loose. I just want you to see what this is building up to.

Jeremiah 4:13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.

Who is this he? It’s King Nebuchadnezzar and his Babylonian army.

Jeremiah 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

It doesn’t just take a change of heart to stop worshipping idols, it takes a change of mind, of thought. Thoughts are very powerful and when you dwell on them and listen to them they can take you from a good place to a bad place very quickly.

What Father is asking of them is how much longer do I have to wait for you to change the way that you live? What is it going to take, what is it that I have to do?

Is He asking that of you today? Do you need to change the way that you live?

Jeremiah 4:15 For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.

The Tribe of Dan was closest to the area to the north from which the Chaldean army would approach. Ephraim was further to the south.

Father is telling them, over and over again, that they need to stop worshipping idols and come back into His fold. He’s even telling them who the enemy is and from where they will approach.

Jeremiah 4:16 Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

Tell the surrounding nations, as a public outcry, that it’s coming soon. These watchers are from King Nebuchadnezzar’s army, spies if you will, and those that make up that army are called Notzerim.

On a worldwide scale, Father has His watchers as well. That word watchers is used only a few times in Scripture, it is of Aramaic origin, which is rare for that language to be in the Old Testament, and one place where we find it is in the book of Daniel…

Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. KJV.

They are holy spirits or angels and Father has them watch over certain nations or kingdoms. Not only does HE see and know everything, but these watchers also focus on places that are of concern to Him.

Jeremiah 4:17 As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the Lord.

As keepers of a field. Still referring to the watchers. Keepers of a field can also be someone that keeps the wild beasts away.

Jeremiah 4:18 Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee. Because of the way that you live your lives, you have brought all these things on yourself. Father is saying that it wasn’t HIS idea, He’s doing it because it’s necessary to turn a few heads around and have them return to Him.

Jeremiah 4:19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

My bowels, my bowels!. These words coming from Jeremiah himself, perhaps the gravity of the situation between the people and our Father has hit his very soul.

My heart maketh a noise in me. Fear and dread has entered into him

The trumpet that means the most to us today is the seventh. That last trumpet.

“Well, what trumpet has blown so far today?”

I have no doubt in my mind that the fifth trumpet has sounded because when the sixth trumpet sounds, it announces the arrival of Satan/Antichrist, and, of course, our Lord returns at the seventh.

O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war. Jeremiah anticipates the eventual sounding of the war horn and he is fearful for his people because of it.

Jeremiah 4:20 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

The enemy comes suddenly, the tents, which represent the cities and towns, including Jerusalem, will be overtaken as easily as destroying a tent made of cloth. Everything will be destroyed.

Jeremiah 4:21 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

What is this trumpet? It’s the seventh. Who is the standard? Jesus Christ. It’s also the Christian flag.

Most people don’t know nor do many care, but there is a war going on around this world and their mission is to wipe out Christianity. Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, China, Russia, and North Korea to name just a few of the countries that actively persecute Christians. The Christian Post says that the North Koreans are more afraid of Christians than they are of nuclear warfare.

Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Father is giving a reason as to why His children act as they do. They are silly and stupid. Doing evil seems to come naturally to them, some seem eager to do it, but to do what’s right and proper, they don’t have a clue.

Is that Fathers’ fault? Nope, it’s ours. When you create 14-15 billion souls and eventually put them all in a flesh and blood body, whose nature is to do evil and sin constantly, someone has to give them some kind of direction or they’ll die before they figure things out.

So, He had certain people write different parts of what would become a book or a Bible. It doesn’t teach us how to fish or how to build a house, but it does tell us how to live together, how to get along, how to treat others fairly, and ultimately, what He expects of us if we want to get to the eternity and what will happen if we don’t read that book.

That’s why He calls us silly and stupid. Sottish. Nobody hardly ever reads that book. They are so lazy that they’ll let someone else read it, and then, for about an hour every Sunday, have them tell them what was in it. And, boy, does that give power to the crafty-minded.

We’ve come to the verses that concern what Father did in the first heaven/earth age. Some “preachers” will tell you that this is the flood of Noah’s time, but He will teach us differently.

Open your mind and take in a big chunk of the truth….

Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

I beheld the earth. From where He is at this time, a place, no doubt, where He could see the entire globe with one glance…..He LOOKED at the earth, He observed it.

It was without form, and void; He had destroyed everything on the surface of this earth.

And the heavens, and they had no light. What are the heavens? It’s everything that surrounds this planet without being a part thereof. Where are the sun and the moon and the stars? In the heavens.

But they weren’t there because they gave off no light. Did Father destroy them as well? Nope. They were never there to begin with.

“Well, then what kind of light was there in the first heaven/earth age?”

We can find that out by going to the book of Revelation because when the eternity begins, Father will revert this earth back to the condition that it was in during the first heaven/earth age…

Revelation 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. KJV

There was no need for the sun, the moon, nor the stars because our Lord gave the entire planet light. It’s my belief that with that layer of water surrounding this earth, that His Shekinah Glory reflected off of that water, thus sending light around the globe.

Let’s look at the word void for a minute and go to the Hebrew language…

Void_ OT:922 bohuw (bo'-hoo); from an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, i.e. (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin:

Father destroyed everything on the surface.

“Well, how do I know that this isn’t where He created it all from the beginning?”

Good question. Let’s go to Isaiah 45:18. This is where He created the earth from the beginning....

✡ Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. KJV

He created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited. Inhabited by whom…human beings? Nope, that will come later. Here, in the beginning, He created it for the souls, all of which are in spiritual bodies, that He had created for His pleasure. Remember reading that in Revelation?

He didn't create a planet that was just a blob of space dust held together with spit and string. He created it originally for the 14-15 billion souls.

It also contained all of the prehistoric animals and birds and other life that we discover in archeological digs from time to time today.

“Well, why did He create them?”

To maintain the planet, to keep it from becoming so overgrown that it would be useful for nothing. That’s why these prehistoric animals were so huge, they ate tons of foliage each day and there were untold billions of them.

Now, let’s look at this word vain here in Isaiah..

Vain_ OT:8414 tohuw (to'-hoo); from an unused root meaning to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), i.e. desert; figuratively, a worthless thing; adverbially, in vain:

This is the same word that we found in Jeremiah. He didn’t create it as a dark planet, it wasn’t worthless, it was full of life, both animal and vegetable.

“Well, what happened that made Him destroy everything on the surface?”

One word. Katabole’. It comes from the phrase "foundation of the world."

Foundation_ NT:2602 katabole (kat-ab-ol-ay'); from NT:2598; a deposition, i.e. founding; figuratively, conception: KJV - conceive, foundation.

It was the war in heaven initiated by Lucifer and his 7000 fallen angels. Approximately one-third of all the souls that Father had created followed Lucifer in his attempt to take control of the Mercy Seat.

Father then had a decision to make…destroy all of those souls OR recreate the surface of the earth to be able to sustain human life and have ALL souls come through this earth age that we are now living in, and be given a chance, once and for all, to decide who they would love and worship: Satan or our Father.

That’s why He destroyed the surface of this earth from the first heaven/earth age and modified it for human life in THIS heaven/earth age.

Jeremiah 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

In the first heaven/earth age, the surface of this earth was flat and that presented no problem because there was no water on the surface during that time. The water that existed was contained in a layer that surrounded this planet that we know of as the firmament.

The axis and the poles were in proper alignment so there were no ice caps at either the north or south poles as there is today. The tectonic plates that cover the outer surface of this planet are constantly moving against one another today. They compensate for expansion and contraction.

I have no doubt that Father had these plates move against one another which created upheavals of dirt, rock, and stone, thus creating mountain ranges and valleys.

Jeremiah 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

There was no man. Remember that human beings had not been created, as of yet, Father is still preparing the earth for them, so who is this man?

Yes, the Strong’s Concordance has this word man listed as adam, or “human being” but that’s taking it out of context. There are many places throughout the Scriptures where angels are called “sons of God”…

Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. KJV

These are the 7000 fallen angels that stood with Satan at the time of the attempted overthrow.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. KJV

These are the souls of those that Father created for His own company at the beginning.

ALL the souls in spiritual bodies left this earth and went back to be with our Father. They no longer had access to this earth.

And all the birds of the heavens were fled. In one swift movement of His hand, all of the birds and dinosaurs and other creatures were destroyed. Scientists have discovered wooly mammoths in Alaska that were frozen solid with unchewed buttercups still in their mouths. Some of the meat was thawed out and fed to the sled dogs, it was still in prime condition. The conditions that froze them was instantaneous.

It happened in the blink of an eye. Father destroyed all of it. This was not the time when Noah released a raven into the air to see if the water had receded to the point that land was once again exposed.

A dove was later released and returned with an olive branch in its beak which proves that the flood was a local occurrence and not world-wide. Understand that the reason for Noah’s flood was to eradicate the hybrids being created by the act of sexual intercourse between angels and human women.

Jeremiah 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

The fruitful place was a wilderness. This ONCE FRUITFULL place, or planet, was now a wilderness. The surface of this earth became barren and empty of all life forms. There were no dinosaurs, such as the Giraffatitan Brancai, which stood 45 feet high, 75 feet long and weighed over 132,000 pounds; no flying birds such as the Pelagornis Sandersi, whose wingspan was over 24 feet.

Can you imagine how much vegetation it would take to feed a single 132,000-pound dinosaur for even one day?

And all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord. I’ll bet you didn’t know that there were cities built in the first heaven/earth age, did you?

Not many bible scholars did either. Back in the 1800s, they thought that this fruitful place was the city of Carmel, because that name, in the Hebrew, means “fruitful place” and they based their reasoning and deductions on that one incorrect fact. A lot of unintentional misteaching back in those days.

Remember this: He destroyed the surface in the first heaven/earth age, with water, but just before the Eternity He will destroy all that is evil with fire.

Jeremiah 4:27 For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

The whole land shall be desolate. Father will MAKE the whole earth desolate, He did not CREATE the whole world desolate. But He will not destroy the entire planet.

Do you understand the magnitude of what Father has done? The enormity of wiping this entire planet clean of every living thing and then covering it with water from the firmament.

Jeremiah 4:28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

     His decision is final.

For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black. The earth is a living organism, a world surrounded by a protective atmosphere that shields us from the harmful rays of the sun and burns up most of the space debris that enters into it.

It breathes through vents and cracks in its plates, relieving pressure by spewing magma onto the surface, creating islands in mid-ocean. Plantlife that knows the position of the sun at any given time during the day. Animals "hear" her sounds, her movements; they "feel" her tremblings and are warned, before human beings are, of imminent danger.

And now this perfect sphere is going to be filled with sin and corruption, her lakes, rivers, and oceans polluted with plastic and man-made chemical compounds. Huge areas of forest land will be raped of her timber to make cups and computer paper. Huge areas will be burned off allowing her nutritious and life-giving soil to run off into the rivers, creating bland sediment that is good for nothing.

And she mourns because of it.

Father now leaves off speaking about the first heaven/earth age and we’re back to His people in and around Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 4:29 The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

When the Babylonian army of King Nebuchadnezzar rushes towards Jerusalem, everybody will flee for their lives. The cities will become desolate of people.

Jeremiah 4:30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Or…now, what are you going to do to save yourselves, you inhabitants of Jerusalem?

They’re going to put on the clothing of scarlet and crimson, make themselves look like royalty to avoid the massacre that is coming. The women will make themselves look like women of the night in order to tempt the soldiers and delay them from their duty.

But even they will despise you.

Jeremiah 4:31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers. KJV

The women will wail with the sounds of the first-time delivery of a child.

Father has determined that He is fed up with His people worshipping idols and going to foreign countries for help during times of war. He stands there fully capable of helping these people and yet they don’t believe Him.

A woman in travail is about to give birth to a child, but spiritually, there is another travail that is about to give birth to a new age, a new time. But until that actually happens, we have to live our lives daily and each day presents us with a chance of a new beginning.

Forget about what happened yesterday. Repent of it all, late at night, when all is quiet, and renew your dedication to live tomorrow, faithfully trying to follow His laws and commandments as best you can.

For heaven's sake, it’s not that difficult if you really try. If you love Him enough TO try.
