The Book of Jeremiah

Chapter 7

Place-In Gate of Temple

Jeremiah 7:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

This will be the 6th prophecy of the 57 that are given in this book of Jeremiah.

There is a direct reference between 7:2 of this chapter and verse 2 of chapter 26. Verse 2, here in chapter 7, tells of the prophet giving the message from our Father and 26:2 tells us that the coming punishment will be negated IF they listen and come back to Him.

Also, verses:12-14, of this chapter 7, correlate to chapter 26:4-6 in making Judah remember what happened in the city of Shiloh when their continued disobedience brought about that destruction.

I’ll point this out when we get to chapter 26.

Jeremiah 7:2 Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord.

Stand in the gate of the Lord's house. This would be the east gate, one of seven that were used by the courts. Three others are north gates and three others are south gates.

It would seem that Father had Jeremiah do this at a time when there were a lot of people in Jerusalem, probably to celebrate a feast day.

You should also notice that Father didn’t say to this prophet…

”Proclaim My Word IF you get around to it, Jeremiah”

     or

If you feel like it, Jeremiah”.

No. He said STAND there in that gate and tell these people what I will have you say. It also didn’t seem that Father was concerned if Jeremiah was a little afraid or a little timid or a little self-conscious to stand before these large groups of men, women, and children.

Nope, didn’t bother Father at all, and it should not have bothered Jeremiah either, because he had the Creator standing beside him, but you and I know, as weak and frail human beings, that ONLY Jeremiah knew that Father was standing there with him, the rest of the town did not. They could not see our Father standing there.

And Jeremiah is going to take a little heat, a little flack, from the people in just a short while, concerning the Temple.

Jeremiah 7:3 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

All you have to do is get over yourself, stop whoring around with other gods that can do nothing for you, and IF you do, I will cause you to dwell in this land, the land of your forefathers.

Jeremiah 7:4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these.

Father is saying this in irony because some of the people think that the Temple itself will do the saving of their souls and that is not possible. Going to a particular church or denomination today is NOT going to save your soul.

Why? Well, for one reason, and it’s given right here, the preachers inside that Temple are not saying the Words of our Father, they’re saying THEIR OWN WORDS. The words of men will not save your soul UNLESS those words, spoken by those men, come from the Word of God.

And most likely they do not, or Father would not have just said what He said.

My mother raised us kids within the Catholic church and by the age of 20, or so, I had left for good and didn’t go to any church for many, many years.

But to this day, this day, when I’m feeling down, when I need something spiritual in my life that day, my mind turns to the Catholic church, especially if I happen to be driving by one at that particular moment. My childhood memories of being inside one of those buildings gave me great comfort.

The votive candle stands, on either side of the altar, where one would light a candle before praying. (For the modest price of one dollar per candle, I might add.)

The statue of Joseph and one of Mary holding the baby Jesus; the high ceilings and the ever-present aroma of incense in the air. It’s all of these things, collectively, that makes us think that the church will save us and it’s a false illusion.

The same thing applies to the Israelites. They could have carried that canvass tabernacle from here to Mars and it would not have saved one soul. It was obedience to our Father that saved. The building or tent was simply a place where the priest or preacher stood to preach the Word of God. The building had nothing to do with it.

     Jeremiah 7:5 For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

Make a fair judgment between two people that are at odds with each other.

Jeremiah 7:6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. Those who might be seen as of lesser stature than the other muckedy-ducks of the church.

Neither walk after other gods to your hurt. Walking after false gods is going to hurt you spiritually. When you do that you’re not only praying to open-air, you’re hurting our Father by not believing in and praying to Him.

Jeremiah 7:7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

BUT Father says that if you do the things that He has just outlined, then He will cause you to dwell in the land of your forefathers and be happy.

Jeremiah 7:8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

Behold, ye trust in lying words. The rapture theory and the any-moment doctrines. Very, very popular in some churches today, the rapture theory only being around for the last 190 years. What about the 1830 years PRIOR to this doctrine?

Why didn’t the “church” teach this doctrine during that time? BECAUSE IT ISN’T IN THE BIBLE. IT’S A LIE FABRICATED BY MANKIND. That’s what lying words are. If this lie were the truth, don’t you think that our Lord would have taught it while He walked on this earth? Of course, he would have.

And this any-moment lie….Father tells us exactly what to look for before the return of His Son…

2nd Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means:

Don’t let some loose-lipped preacher speaking lying words, tell you anything different because THIS is how it’s all going down.

for that day shall not come,

Did you read that carefully? Paul is going to tell us that the Lord is coming back but that day shall not come until what happens?

except there come a falling away first,

What is that falling away? It’s called the apostasy and it can only happen AFTER Satan, in his role as the Antichrist, stands in the holy place claiming to be the Son of the living God

and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; KJV.

That man of sin will be revealed when he’s kicked off that mountain top by our Lord Himself. And don’t give me that worn-out argument that….

“Well, it says right thar that the Antichrist will be a MAN, therefore Satan must be a man.”

The word man, here, should not be taken literally because there are many, many examples throughout the Bible where spiritual beings have been called by the name “man” and you show your ignorance by not understanding that fact.

     Jeremiah 7:9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

Have you figured it out yet, people? The Creator of the universe, the Creator of all that we see, the Creator that made the expanse of space so huge that we would NEVER figure out how to get off this planet and live somewhere else, DOESN’T LIKE IT WHEN YOU SERVE AND WORSHIP SOMETHING MADE BY HUMAN HANDS.

And you live your lives as a bunch of heathens, stealing and murdering and screwing around with some other guys’ woman, you stand before some authority and lie to protect your own butt and you go each and every Sunday morning to some Beth-aven, some house of nothing, and listen to the words of some pitiful human being telling you how great you can be.

“Well brother, all you have to do is just buy into our CLUB, entry-level for only $20.00 a month, and the healings and blessings will just overflow in your life! And if you think that this is not for you, here are some testimonies from people that had miracles performed in their lives just recently…”

Jeremiah 7:10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

And come and stand before me in this house. Israel had this idea that going into that Temple would save them from the depths of hell and a lot of people believe that even today, not just Israel.

But what Father is telling them to do here is to just come into HIS house and confess all of their sins and if they do it in His name, they will be delivered. Just admit to the things that they have done against His laws and repent and be forgiven.

Which is called by my name. Does your church have His name on it? Is His name IN IT? Meaning, is the Word of God read there? Or is all you get on some Sunday morning is a couple of verses to BACK UP some parts of the preachers’ sermon?

And maybe, just maybe, some of those “quoted” verses may be taken out of context. Some of those verses may be written to Israel and have no part of us in them. That’s misleading as heck. However, if you study chapter by chapter and know what the subject is and to whom it is written, then you can’t go wrong.

Jeremiah 7:11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord.

Do you think that His church has become a place for robbers to gather? You’re supposed to come in, study from His Word, and learn the right way to live your life but, instead, you already know how to live by His laws, you deliberately violate them, and then come in and expect this house to forgive you.

Preachers have a way of making people feel good about themselves even though they reek with sin and corruption. And let that preacher bring that up on some Sunday morning, point out the sins of the people, and they’ll either find a different church to attend or run that ‘ole boy off and let him preach someplace else.

That right there is the very reason that many preachers don’t teach chapter by chapter….the hierarchy of the church system won’t let them and STILL, they go along with the party, knowing that they are building sin upon sin on themselves, much less, the congregation.

They do it for the money. Recognition. Fame.

Jeremiah 7:12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh. Father doesn’t really want them to physically go back to Shiloh, but rather do it from memory, from being taught about what happened there. Essentially, this is what went down….

There was a priest by the name of Eli, and he had two sons…

1st Samuel 4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. KJV

Hophni and Phinehas. Both of them were bad to the bone from birth. They were supposed to be priests but instead of loving our Father, they worshipped Belial. The name Hophni means pugilist, a boxer, and Phinehas means brazen mouth.

Hophni and Phinehas loved to get drunk, raise hell, and rape women. They violated the animal sacrifices for their own benefit and didn’t give a hoot about our Father. And many of the other young men followed what they did.

1st Samuel 2:17 Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord: for men abhorred the offering of the Lord. KJV

Father was tired of what He was seeing, and He caused the Philistine army to come against Israel for their sins and it was carnage for Israel….

1st Samuel 4:10 And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen. KJV

And He had the Philistines take the Ark of the Covenant, actually the Ark of the Lord, away with them….

1st Samuel 4:11 And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain. KJV

This was the punishment that Father put on Israel for their sins and the reason that He mentions this in Jeremiah is to remind them of what kind of punishment they might endure AGAIN if they don’t change their ways.

Hophni and Phinehas are dead, and the Philistines held that Ark for the next seven months. Lesson learned? You decide.

     Back to Jeremiah….

     Jeremiah 7:13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the Lord, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

Have you ever heard Him call you? I hope that you have. Oh, it’s not going to be verbal words in one of your ears because His voice, in and of itself, is something mortal man could not bear to hear. It’s described in Revelation as such….

Revelation 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: KJV

Indistinguishable thunder. But you’ll hear Him as a small voice inside your mind, not with an external ear. And you have to have a rapport with Him, you have to be as free from sin as humanly possible and that’s normally right after you have asked for forgiveness of your sins.

But first and foremost, you have to slow down your pace in this life and take time to meditate and try to listen for it. He’s not just going to up and slap you in the face and shout…

     “Listen up, Bubba!”

Jeremiah 7:14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

Father repeats His threat to chastise Israel as He did in times past in Shiloh.

Jeremiah 7:15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

Even the whole seed of Ephraim. That’s the Ten Tribes that went over the Caucasus Mountains, the so-calledlost Tribes of Israel.” They’re not lost, they’re just scattered. The reason that He calls them the seed of Ephraim is because, within those Ten Tribes, Ephraim was the largest in population, in number.

We know that it was He that scattered them because He was so fed up with them that He divorced them. Remember chapter 3, verse 8?

Jeremiah 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. KJV

Israel is also another name for the Ten Northern Tribes. You’ll notice that He compares those Ten Tribes to Judah, which is comprised of the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin. They stayed in Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

Therefore pray not thou for this people. Father is telling Jeremiah to NOT pray for these people, make no intercessory prayer for them and don’t cry for them because His ears are closed.

Jeremiah 7:17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Do you not see what they do, Jeremiah? These people are off the chart with their false gods and idolatry. Everything that they do is against My commandments. Continuously.

Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

The children gather the wood, the fathers make the fire in the oven and the mother mixes up the dough and kneads it into small cakes and then bakes them. Some say that the cakes were round, indicating the moon. Others say that they were shaped like a cross.

They were then dedicated to the god Astarte, a fertility goddess, also known as Ishtar and Astarte, depending on which culture was doing the worshipping.

And to pour out drink offerings unto other gods. The cakes were made, and the drinking begins, and soon it will evolve into an orgy that was open to everyone. Father hated that.

That they may provoke me to anger. It seems that they do it on purpose just to make our Father angry with them. Self-destruction? I don’t know.

“Well, thank goodness, we don’t do that kind of nonsense in our church.”

Really? Do you celebrate Easter instead of Passover? Do you go outside on Easter morning for sunrise services? Do the little kiddies roll Easter eggs on the church lawn later that morning? Do you fill Easter baskets with eggs and bunnies and little chickens? Do you hang different colored plastic eggs from Walmart on a bush in your front yard?

How ignorant are you!? You don't even realize what you're doing!

Jeremiah 7:19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

I really like that verse because it illustrates one of the basic cores of human beings. We have an entity, the Creator, who tells us how we should live if we want to get to heaven, but we don’t like to be told what to do, so we deliberately disobey those instructions to hurt that entity that tells us what to do, and we end up hurting only ourselves by keeping ourselves out of heaven.

That Creator, that Entity, is ALREADY IN HEAVEN and we’re not.

Pissing against the wind. We could turn downwind and keep our pants dry, but we deliberately do the opposite because we’re in charge and I’ll get my jeans wet just to prove it.

And by the way, if you disapprove of my use of the word “pissing” check this out….

1st Kings 16:11 And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends. KJV

That phrase is referring to the men because could a woman stand there, drop her drawers, and piss against the wall? Nope.

Some of you can put that in your "I'm so offended" folder/directory for further use.

Jeremiah 7:20 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

The beasts of the field and the trees and the fruit had no part in the disobedience and rebellion of these people, so why would Father destroy these things? Because they were put there by Him for our use and now He’s taking them away as a punishment.

What’s really going on here between our Father and these people or even people in general? He wants to know who loves Him and who does not. Don’t ever forget WHY we’re here in the first place. It was Satan’s war in heaven and the one-third of all created souls that went against our Father.

And rather than destroying 15-18 billion souls He recreated the surface of this earth and made it to where it would sustain flesh and blood bodies and we are to use this life to prove to Him that we either love Him or we love Satan.

It is no more complicated than that and if you are constantly in rebellion against Him, do you think that that shows love towards Him? No, it does not, and you’ll be on the outside looking in for a short period of time because when the Judgment is over, so will you be.

BUT, if you understand the truth and you live your life according to it, and you try your best to help others understand it, you will have a high place in the Eternity with our Father. Of course, when the Eternity finally comes, the Triune will be complete once again, there will be no separation of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

They will be One and that Entity will look just like our Lord Jesus Christ.

1st John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1st John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. KJV

     Verse 21.

Jeremiah 7:21 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

Take your burnt offerings, which were to be fully cooked, and put them on top of your sacrifices, cooked only in part, and eat it, says Father. You commit all these other abominations, you might as well do it with the flesh as well. He’s disgusted with them all.

And actually, He never liked burnt offerings and sacrifices, to begin with…

Isaiah 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. KJV

He required it from them simply to show obedience to Him.

Jeremiah 7:22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

This sounds a bit deceiving because Father DID require sacrifices….

Deuteronomy 12:6 And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: KJV

Sacrifices and burnt offerings are worthless without the moral context within which they are offered.

1st Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. KJV

Sacrifices and offerings SHOW LOVE to Him, they do nothing else.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Obey what He says for you to do and there will be peace between you and Him. It’s more explicit in Exodus 15…

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. KJV

     Verse 24.

Jeremiah 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

They wouldn’t listen to Him, and they counseled among themselves and continued with their abominations.

Jeremiah 7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

The prophets that Father sent were so concerned with giving the people His message that they started very early in the morning to make the most of the day.

Jeremiah 7:26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

It got worse and worse, further and further, they slipped from the Word of God.

Jeremiah 7:27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

They are blinded to the truth, dull of hearing, they will pay no attention to Jeremiah. Why? Because they like the lifestyle that they’re living. It pleases them to no end. Get drunk, rape somebody, murder somebody, have an orgy out there in the woods, and on and on it goes.

Jeremiah 7:28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

This is a nation. These are a people, a particular race of people through which our Lord Jesus Christ will come. They are chosen specifically by our Father to perform that duty but does that make them special human beings?

Yes, it does, because the pure lineage through which our Lord will come has to be protected from Satan and his attacks. We cannot understand the spiritual intensity within Satan’s mind during these centuries as Judah and Levi continue to grow and multiply in number.

The nation of Israel has already been split into two segments: The House of Israel and the House of Judah. And while Satan and his dominion will spiritually attack ALL twelve Tribes, he will focus intently on Judah and Levi because these are the king and priest Tribes through which Mary will be born and if he can disrupt or degrade that heritage, the Savior will never be born with purity of spirit and Satan will have won.

I truly hope that you understand what I just said because it's VERY important that you do.

Jeremiah 7:29 Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the Lord hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

If you have a King James Bible, 1611 version, you’ll notice that the word “Jerusalem” is in italics which means that it’s not in the Manuscripts. It was inserted by the translators to make the verse read more clearly but that is not a good practice.

To substantiate that even further, if you go to the Hebrew Interlinear Bible, the Strong’s Concordance number for “Jerusalem” is 9999 which tells you real quick that it’s an “inserted” word by the translators.

What “Jerusalem” really means here is “the daughters of My people” or “the daughters of Jerusalem”. It’s referring to the book of Ezekiel, chapter 13, where the women wove cloths or kerchiefs that were used to cover up our Lord’s saving hands.

The chapter that specifically denies the fly-away doctrine where our Father tells us to not teach His people to fly to save their souls. Take that information, along with the generation of His wrath and Father is talking about the generation of the fig tree, the generation of today.

Jeremiah 7:30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the Lord: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

They have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name. Remember the Asherah? I sure hope that you do. It’s the tree that they cut down while grove worshipping, trimming off the small branches and making it into the shape of a male penis. This is what they brought into the house of the Lord, the Temple, and you can read of it in 2nd Kings….

2nd Kings 21:7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: KJV

Who did that? Manasseh did it, one of the sons of Joseph, Ephraim being the other.

Jeremiah 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

The word Tophet means “the place of burning”. And suitability so, for the statue/idol of Molech was there.

The valley of the son of Hinnom is also called the “valley of slaughter”. Hinnom is a takeoff of the word Gehennah which was the site of the garbage pit just outside Jerusalem in this very valley. Our Lord would use this word, Gehennah, sometimes translated as “hell”, to demonstrate the sin-covered soul.

This garbage pit would burn and smolder night and day, with worms working their way through the putrefied mess, illustrating the condition of the soul that is covered with sin.

To burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. They would build a fire under the outstretched arms of Molech and then place their infant children on those arms and burn them until dead.

There was no sedative given beforehand, they were not given wine or alcohol beforehand, to lessen the pain, it was pure burning of the flesh and, I would imagine, the screams of these children could be heard for a great distance.

It makes your very soul shutter, doesn’t it, to know that people are capable of doing something like this as a religious ceremony. But, of course, we would NEVER do something like that today, would we?

How about partial-birth abortion? Bring the fetus, the baby, to the opening of the birth canal and, without sedatives to dull the pain, sever the spinal cord with a scalpel and then use a vacuum tube to suck out the brain. Then, cut up the carcass and sell the body parts for scientific experiments.

You people are so ignorant and stupid that you riot in the streets whenever somebody wants to cut off government funds to Planned Parenthood, where many of the abortions are performed and body parts sold to MAKE THEM MONEY.

Jeremiah 7:32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

It will not be called “the valley of slaughter” because of the dead infant babies killed there, but for the coming slaughter of the people of Jerusalem for these horrendous sins. The slaughter will be so complete that, symbolically, it will fill the valley to the very brim.

Jeremiah 7:33 And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

There will be food for the vultures for many weeks to come as they gorge themselves on these dead bodies.

Jeremiah 7:34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate. KJV

So, how are you doing, people? Has your preacher ever taught you this in your church? That would be an emphatic NO. He doesn’t want to scare the tender hearts and minds of those who attend his sermons each Sunday morning.

Just tell them that everything is going to be just fine, Jesus loves them, and the rapture will take them away before anything bad really happens.

Meanwhile, they sit there like little cloth dolls, with buttons for eyes, as they nod their heads in unison, marveling at the wisdom of this magnificent preacher.

     Feeling safe and sanctified.

Thank goodness for the love and compassion of our Father who created that thousand-year period called the Millennium, specifically for people such as these. They have no desire to study on their own, they are engrossed in the lies of the religious community, run by Satan himself, and therefore will have no chance of understanding the truth during this life.

But, by living like this, they will miss out on so much from our Father, and the robe that they will wear during the eternity, if they do indeed get there, will be pitifully small. And every soul there will know exactly how they lived their lives by that fact.

And they probably won’t even be embarrassed by it.
