The 1000 Years
Part 1 of 2
I think that everyone has a feeling that the Lord will come back in the very near future, all you have to do is look around at the senseless evil, even in your own neighborhood, and the violence around the world, especially in the Middle East, with ISIS killing Christians across the board.
Something that has happened recently, that I think is another event that points to our Lord’s return, is President Trump announcing that we will move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, probably sometime in the next 4-5 years. Naturally, this brought about riots from the Muslim world since they claim Jerusalem as their own.
I don’t think that President Trump is smart enough to see the hand of our Father in this, but I feel that He definitely is. Politically, it’s a show of support from Jacob to Israel, that we will stand by them through peace and turmoil. Trump called the decision a fulfillment of a campaign promise.
Keep your eyes and ears open to the interaction between Trump and Putin, America and Russia. Russia will still play a prominent role in these end time events.
Our Lord left this earth from the Mount of Olives and He will return to exactly the same spot, on the same Mount. His leaving brought about His last appearance in a flesh and blood body and His return will be in a body surrounded by a rainbow of spiritual glory, His Shekinah Glory.
With His return in mind, what happens when He does? For one thing, it will be called the Lord’s Day and the first day of the Millennium and the place, in the Bible, that gives us the most information on this event, is in the book of Ezekiel, chapters 40 through 48.
So, we’re going to take a few minutes and get into those chapters and find out what, exactly, will be going on and who will be doing what, during that time.
On this Lord’s Day, time as we know it to be, will no longer be counted by hour and second hands. Not only has this dispensation come to a close, we will all have been changed into spiritual bodies and have entered into a dimension that doesn’t mark time with clocks.
Ref: Revelation 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: KJV
No setting of alarms to be at work on time or to catch the 8:15 bus into downtown. There’s also another witness in the book of Psalms concerning time:
Ref: Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. KJV
Peter also giving us pretty much the same:
Ref: 2nd Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. KJV
Being in this dimension should not be foreign to us because we’ve already spent eons of time there already, since the moment Father created all of us for His pleasure, as recorded in Revelation:
Ref: Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. KJV
We were in a spiritual body in that age, being called the Sons of God.
Ref: Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. KJV
In this spiritual body, we were able to perform the functions of a male, in that the fallen angels, from the above verse, were able to impregnate the daughters of men.
And then we have the spiritual body of the Millennium and throughout all of eternity. There is no absolute description of this particular one, but we’re told that we do not give and take in marriage during the Millennium nor during the eternity:
Ref: Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. KJV
We will, however, be male and female in appearance, how else could we recognize our loved ones, like grandma and grandpa?
When does the changeover from earthly to spiritual bodies happen? At the 7th trump, the last trump…
Ref: 1st Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. KJV
The twinkling of an eye, a nanosecond. And why will we be changed?
Ref:1st Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Our earthly body can’t go into the Millennium. It has to be changed into a spiritual body.
Ref:1st Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Not everybody will have died when He returns, there will be many billions of people still walking around. Sleep is a euphemism for die or death. In fact, there will be about 7.1 billion people changed. What an amazing, world-wide event that will be. Can we even allow ourselves to believe that it will happen to us, during our lifetime?
This body of the Millennium and the eternity, it will be slightly different from the first, but spiritual none the less. And how great is that going to feel? No more aches and pains, never getting the flu or a cold again, no more death from cancer or leukemia or the other horrible diseases that man has brought upon all of us.
Big business, covering our fields with chemicals to make crops produce more, having those chemicals run off into our streams and rivers and lakes, to contaminate the water that we drink.
I remember years ago, living up in the mountains of North Carolina, seeing water cascading down the rockface, seeming to come from the rock itself, and drinking that pure, natural, filtered water that was so cool and so sweet. Standing there, smelling the earth and the moss and the air at that elevation. What a beautiful place to live.
Compare that to the Clorox-smelling, putrid waste that comes from the faucet at home, being told that it's safe to drink, being lied to about the lead contaminates being below levels that would harm humans, children being born with physical defects because of it.
The water in the Millennium will be so sweet and spiritual, that heals even the spiritual body.
So, let’s set the stage before we get into chapter 40 of Ezekiel:
The Lord has returned. Flesh and blood bodies, earthly bodies, have been done away with and we’re all in spiritual bodies.
Satan has been locked up in the abyss…
Ref: Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
This will be a literal, physical chain. Many people don't believe this, their concept of the spiritual being that of a spook, a wisp of smoke. They don't understand that there is substance to a spiritual body.
Ref: Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Having no influence over us during this time, with the exception that we will be able to see him, to look at him...
Ref: Isaiah 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Ref: Isaiah 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; KJV
I think that this is the reason that we will be allowed to go to loved ones, to council them during the Millennium. Some having followed him and his world all their lives and then seeing him during this time, perhaps they'll have a longing to go back to that time and decide to follow him again, during that short season of temptation at the end of these thousand years.
Ref: Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. KJV
Neither Satan, the 7000 fallen angels nor any evil spirit from the nether world, will be able to tempt or disrupt us during this time.
Heaven will also be closed. Why? Because there will be no death during this time. All flesh and blood has been done away with, so there will be no physical death.
All other souls have already been put in the place in which they deserve: either on the left or right side of the Gulf or here on earth to participate in the Millennium. Those on the right side will remain where they are, they will not be a part of the Millennium, either to be taught nor to be one of His Elect.
And there are two types of souls on the left side…some that will go directly into the Lake of Fire after Judgement Day, they will remain right where they are, and those that will go through this time to be taught.
The book of Ezekiel
Alright, chapter 40 of this book of Ezekiel contains a lot of measurements and I think that it would be tedious, at best, to read each and every one of them. Those who have a Companion Bible can go to appendix 88 and be able to see a drawing of everything that is being measured, concerning the Temple and the surrounding area.
Each measurement is precise and exact and those who are into biblical numerics, this will probably make you very happy as you go through each one.
You can click on the button at the top of this page to view two images of the Millennial Temple and area.
One very important thing needs to be pointed out…many people wonder if they will be able to recognize a loved one during the Millennium or during the Eternity. The answer up front…is yes, you will....
Ezekiel 44:25 And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves. KJV
There may have been a loved one that really never got their life together, whether it be from alcohol, drugs, disease, mental disorder or what have you.
If they willingly and totally and absolutely forsook our Father, they may be on the left side of the Gulf and therefore may not participate in the Millennium. We’re not supposed to judge others because we don’t know the absolute condition of they mind but, in the event that they will have an opportunity to learn the truth, they will be there in the Millennium.
We are made in the image and likeness of our Father and the angels, which means that they look just like us and when we transcend into our spiritual body, that body will look exactly like it did in an earthly body, when they were alive and walking among us.
Ref: Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. KJV
They will be of a younger-looking age, around their mid-20’s, so if you remember what they looked like at that age, it will be easy to recognize them. Every angel that was ever described in the Bible appeared to be in their mid-20’s.
However, and that’s a big word in this situation, however, you must be one of Father’s Election to be able to go to them and council with them if they are not quite getting with the program. There may have been times when you wanted to say something to them when they were alive, but didn’t, and here you will have that opportunity, but you must be one of Father’s Election to be able to do that.
Here comes another however…you will pay a penalty for going to them and that penalty is to go through seven days of purification before you are allowed to go back into the Temple or able to come close to our Lord.
Why would there be a penalty? Because the souls of those that participate in this period have a soul that is still in a mortal condition, mortal meaning liable to die.
✡ Mortal__NT:2349 thnetos (thnay-tos'); from NT:2348; liable to die: KJV - mortal (-ity).
Liable to die, what? A spiritual death. Every soul in the Millennium is there because they did not overcome in this life, they weren’t a part of the first resurrection and that makes their soul unclean.
Their soul can become immortal if, at the end of the Millennium, they overcome Satan and his temptations during that short season of five months.
Ref: Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. KJV
That short season being a five-month period, just as it was during his time of tribulation before this Millennium began.
If they do overcome, their soul will put on immortality, which is called deathlessness, and they will go into the eternity to be with us and our Father.
✡ Immortality_NT:110 athanasia (ath-an-as-ee'-ah); from a compound of NT:1 (as a negative particle) and NT:2288; deathlessness: KJV - immortality.
Don't ever forget that mortal and immortal ALWAYS refers to the spiritual body.
The question now becomes…do you love them enough to be separated from Christ for seven days while you go through this cleansing? That may be a tough one to answer.
There were many who came in close contact with Christ when He walked this earth, and times were such that some believed in Him and some did not. It seems that walking away from Him during that time was not all that difficult, but conditions are quite different in the Millennium.
We’re all in spiritual bodies and His Elect are able to go into the Millennial Temple and be with Him and that’s a soul to soul situation because your soul will experience the incredible love emanating from Him and that may be extremely difficult to willingly walk away from, even for just seven days.
Remember your first love as a teenager. I didn’t think that I could draw a breath if I were separated from her for even a second, but of course, we all did, but that’s just a small example of the separation anxiety we will probably feel if we cannot go to Him.
And remember, that love for her was a physical love, for the most part, of one earthly body to another. It may be quite extreme in the spiritual.
That being said, we will cover some of the verses of chapter 40 and we’ll begin with verse 1.
Ezekiel 40:1 In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the Lord was upon me, and brought me thither.
That would be the 25th year of the 70 years of the Babylonian captivity.
Ezekiel 40:2 In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.
It is believed that this very high mountain is Mount Moriah and the city that Ezekiel sees is the new Jerusalem of the Millennial age, not the New Jerusalem of Revelation 21:2, which will descend from heaven at the beginning of the Eternity and the end of the Millennium.
Ezekiel 40:3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
This man would be the angel of the Lord, a manifestation of the Spirit of the Lord.
Ezekiel 40:4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
Everything that will be shown to Ezekiel is for the express purpose of him passing this information on to you and me.
Who makes up the house of Israel? After Father split the Kingdom into two parts, because of the sins of king Solomon, we had the house of Israel and the house of Judah. The house of Judah includes the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin and the house of Israel includes the other ten Tribes.
And when these ten Tribes were scattered across the Caucasus Mountains, they migrated into Europe, the British Isles, Canada and the Americas, so the house of Israel includes you and me. It also fulfilled the prophesy given to Abraham that his seed would be as numerous as the stars of heaven and the sands of the sea.
Generation to generation, these people are scattered across the globe.
Ezekiel 40:5 And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. KJV
The house mentioned here is the new Temple, the Millennial Temple, just so there is no doubt as to what we’re talking about.
Something interesting about these measurements…it says a cubit and a hand breadth. Depending on whose cubit is being used, and there are several different dimensions for a cubit, but this cubit would be about 21”-24” in length and a hand breadth would be the width of four fingers or about 3 ½”.
The interesting part is that Solomon’s Temple was built on a single cubit, it did not include a hand breadth, which makes the Millennial Temple 1/7th larger than Solomon’s Temple. How did they arrive at the figure of 1/7th?
A “great cubit”, used in measuring the Millennial Temple, is a cubit and a hand breadth. And 6 handbreadths’ is equal to one cubit, so when the measuring rod is one cubit plus a hand breadth, that would be 7 hand breadths, which is 1/7th larger than the 6 hand breadths used for Solomon’s Temple.
So, in essence, this “great cubit” would be 25”
You will also see that in verse 3, the “man” is using a reed and the length of this reed would be 6 “great cubits” or 150” +-, which is equal to 12’ 6”. Twelve feet, six inches.
Finally, if you’re going to compute distances that are shown in Appendix 88 in the Companion Bible, the cubit used there would be 25” or 2’ 1”, two feet, one inch.
1 cubit = 2’ 1” 1 Reed = 12’ 6”
What’s really of special significance is that, at the north gate, leading into the outer court, there are 7 steps, which represents spiritual completion or perfection, and walking forward to the inner wall, there are 8 steps leading into the inner court, through the north gate, and 8 represents new beginnings.
There are still a few important questions to be asked before we go any further. Is this Millennial Temple figurative or will it be an actual Temple? It will be an actual Temple.
What will happen to the Temple area that exists today?
The last Temple built was erected under the orders of Herod Agrippa II, probably to gain favor with the Jews. Construction work on it was stopped in 62 AD and eight years later, in 70 AD, the Roman general Titus came in with his troops and destroyed it.
The only remaining part of that temple is a portion of a retaining wall that is currently called the Wailing Wall and is revered by the Jewish peoples.
Between 685 and 691 AD, a Muslim Mosque was built on the old foundation of Herod’s Temple, called the Dome of the Rock. What will happen to it? Well, we can read the words of our Lord for that answer..
Ref: Matthew 24:24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Ref: Matthew 24:25 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. KJV
That’s pretty plain and clear, isn’t it?
Will there be a Temple during the Eternal age? Well, let’s read the words of St. John, he was taken there, and let Him tell us…
Ref: Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. KJV
The new city of Jerusalem will be there and, according to St. John, again, its beauty will take your breath away.
Let’s go down to verse 46 of this chapter 40 and read of who Father’s Election are…
Ezekiel 40:46 And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the Lord to minister unto him. KJV
His Election are called the sons of Zadok and what does Zadok mean? It means the Just. We can read of them in Romans chapter 8..
Ref: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Ref: Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Ref: Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. KJV
These are the souls that stood against Satan at the time of his rebellion and they are the only ones that are allowed to come near our Lord or even enter into the Sanctuary and Temple during the Millennium.
If you think that that’s favoritism, you are dead wrong but we’ll get deeper into who they are when we get to the 44th chapter.
Alright, chapters 41 and 42. The measurements continue on the Temple, the chambers, the separate places and the placement of the palm trees and the cherubim on the walls.
In chapter 42, there are two verses, verse 13 and 14, that give mention to the holy chambers…
Ezekiel 42:13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the Lord shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
These are special chambers, holy chambers, for the use of the priests, His Election, only. They are private and not public.
Ezekiel 42:14 When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people. KJV
People have been taught that when we all get to heaven that we’ll be sitting on a cloud, playing a harp and everything will be just perfect, and we’ll sit at the feet of Christ and just have a good ‘ole time.
Not gonna happen, nothing could be further from the truth. Let me state this again for emphasis….only Father’s Election will be able to come close to Christ and minister to Him during this time.
The wall that surrounds the Temple and the buildings therein, is not there for protection, as it was in the past, the wall in the Millennium is there to separate the holy from the profane. Those within the wall will be our Lord and His Election, those outside the wall are kept out and away from our Lord. Why?
Because they have not overcome. They didn’t care enough about our Father or our Lord, in this life, to amount to a hill of beans. They sat comfortably in their churches, accepting the spiritual garbage that came out of some preacher’s mouth, and didn’t care enough about it to open the bible and read it to see if what they were being told was the truth or not.
And why should they? They were already convinced that they had a foolproof escape route that didn’t require one ounce of effort on their part to participate in it. Their precious rapture theory. Their fly-away doctrine. Their any-moment doctrine.
They were told that all you have to do is believe, get baptized, and salvation was forever and ever, no one could take that away from them. They were going to be raptured out before the first hailstone ever hit the ground.
I know that that’s a good con job but didn’t anybody say…
”Maybe this is too good to be true? Maybe something isn’t quite right here?”
I would imagine that some did but the majority didn’t. And here’s the thing about it…these are the people that will participate in this Millennium age, this is what it was set up for, these are the souls that will be taught and disciplined during these thousand years.
Father said that if they want to believe a lie, He’ll just go ahead and let them do it, He’ll put a blanket over their spiritual eyes and ears and stop them from ever understanding the truth during this life…
Ref: 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Ref: 2nd Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
They didn’t care, it was too easy to just sit in that pew and listen to the preacher.
Ref: 2nd Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Father will deliberately and consciously make sure that they don’t receive the truth.
Ref: 2nd Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. KJV
Why did He do that? Because He loved them that much. He was going to put them in a place where Satan had no influence at all, where lying preachers couldn’t continue to deceive them, where there were no temptations at all, where there was no possible way that they could not understand and know the truth of the Scriptures because during the Millennium, everybody will know the Scriptures backward and forward.
The sad part is that this is also why they will be kept on the outside of that wall that surrounds the Temple area. This is why they will not be able to go to the Lord and tell Him how much they love Him.
This is why they are on the outside looking in because had they cared just a little bit, enough to study on their own and discover that the rapture theory was a lie, that the false messiah comes at the 6th trump while the true Messiah comes at the 7th, they might just be inside that wall paying homage and respect to our Lord.
And if they were not a part of His Election, they would be on the right side of the Gulf waiting for the Millennium to be over and for the eternity to begin. So, they missed out on a whole lot because of their being deceived.
Alright, we’re going to skip down to the 43rd chapter, here in Ezekiel…
Ezekiel 43:1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
What is to the east of this gate? The Mount of Olives, that Mount from which He ascended into heaven and the Mount on which He will return.
Ezekiel 43:2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
The glory of the God of Israel. This being the Shekinah glory of His presence. It goes with Him no matter where He is, that rainbow of colors that surrounds Him, the breaking up of the rays of light as if coming from a prism.
Four times the phrase many waters is used of our Father’s voice. What is that like? It’s certainly not like thunder, but is it like a heavy rain? Or the sound of rushing waters from a torrent or swift stream? Or the sound of the water flowing over the Niagara Falls? Or a multitude of people speaking at the same time?
The Hebrew doesn’t help us at all nor does the Interlinear. I do believe that if we ever heard it, we would know instinctively what that sound was like. We would recognize it immediately.
Ezekiel 43:3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
Ezekiel didn’t come to destroy Jerusalem, he came to prophesy that our Father would destroy Jerusalem.
This refers back to Ezekiel 1:1, where Ezekiel saw our Lord and His Throne coming towards him, on that vehicle that resembled highly-polished bronze.
A lot of people will look at you in disbelief when you tell them that our Father travels around in a vehicle of some sort and I’ll admit that it’s difficult to envision, but we have to accept what Father gives us and the description of that vehicle is very clear in chapter 1.
Ezekiel had trouble describing it because the most modern vehicle that he had ever seen were the wheels on a chariot and that’s what he used, in his mind, when he described it.
Ref: Ezekiel 1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
Ref: Ezekiel 1:17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
Ref: Ezekiel 1:18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
Ref: Ezekiel 1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
Ref: Ezekiel 1:20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
Ref: Ezekiel 1:21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. KJV
What was it that propelled that vehicle? It certainly wasn’t gasoline or diesel fuel, not in the dimension in which our Father resides.
We are going to experience things in the Millennium and the eternity that our human mind cannot even conceive. Not only should we look forward to being in the presence of our Father but everything that surrounds Him.
When we finally get there, will it really be a mind-blowing experience, or will we just accept it because we’ve seen it all before, in the first heaven/earth age. Maybe it’s just our human mind that can’t conceive or process the unknown.
We’ll have to wait and see but once the changeover from earthly bodies to spiritual bodies happens, it will all become clear to us.
Ezekiel 43:4 And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
Father went through that east gate, that looks out over towards the Mount of Olives. When He returns, it’s only a short distance from the Mount to that gate.
Ezekiel 43:5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
Father going into that Millennial Temple..
Ezekiel 43:6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
This man being the manifestation of Him, the angel of the Lord.
Ezekiel 43:7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
There is substance to the spiritual body, Father even has feet as we do. There is substance to His Throne as well, else the cherubim would have had to carry it themselves, instead of on a vehicle.
When the Millennial Temple is set up it will be from there that He will rule and guide and judge for those thousand years.
Ezekiel 43:8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger. KJV
Your door by His door, your post beside His post. We will live side by side with Him but only His Election will do it. The others, the profane, will have to wait until after the final temptation period of Satan at the end and just before the Great Judgment.
After spending a thousand years in that place, knowing the bible from start to finish, seeing and watching our Lord walk around inside the Temple area, being taught and disciplined, will some still follow Satan at the end? I do think that there will be some.
I don’t know what the promises of Satan will be during that final five-months but I’m sure that he will convince some to follow him into the Lake of Fire.
During this age, it seems that 100-120 years takes forever to go by, how long will it seem for 1000 years to go by? If the truth of the Word hits you in the early years of this period of the Millennium, how long will it seem to them for it all to be over and they can be close to our Lord?
Think about it, make the necessary changes now, don't get stuck in a time frame that you don't need to be stuck in.
High places mean their churches. Grove worshipping and such. There won’t be any rituals or celebration of the male appendage in the Millennium. Defiling His Temple by bringing those carvings inside it. Father is referring to past experiences with His people, during this age.
Ezekiel 43:9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
The Millennium will separate the holy from the profane, those whose minds can be changed from believing the lies of established religion that so totally convinced so many during this age. And it will be those who do change their minds that will go into the Eternity and be or dwell with Him forever and ever.
Ezekiel 43:10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
Describe this Temple and all that’s in it, Ezekiel, and as they stand outside the wall, looking in at what the Election are doing day to day, may they be ashamed and take this opportunity to change the way they think and live.
Ezekiel 43:11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
Once they get into this time period, show them the Temple and how the Elect are able to go in and out, freely, show them all that's there and include the laws as well. Show them where the Elect are able to walk and the things they are allowed to do. Make them ashamed that they didn't do something during this life that would have, maybe, made them one of His Election.
The opportunity is sitting right here in front of you today. Are you just going to ignore it?
Another privilege that the Elect will have is that they can walk anywhere they want to outside the wall. Anywhere. We’ll find out, in a moment, that His Elect will not be given an allotment, a land area within which they should live, their allotment will be Father Himself, and because Father owns everything during this time, so do the Elect.
Ref: Zechariah 3:7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. KJV
If Father can walk anywhere He desires, so can the Election. Without having this privilege, they couldn’t go to loved ones and council them.
Ezekiel 43:12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house. KJV
These are Millennial laws and ordinances, part of the discipline of this time. Everything inside that wall that surrounds the Temple and all the other buildings, will be considered holy, another reason why the others aren’t allowed to go in, they still have a soul that is in a mortal condition. They are still profane.
Continuing in chapter 43, there will be more measurements and animal sacrifices will be written of again.
Now, there are some commentators and bible scholars that say that these will be literal blood sacrifices and by doing so, they negate and violate the sanctity of the Crucifixion because Christ died on the cross so that His blood shed, would cover the sins of all humanity forward.
Did blood sacrifices ever cause the remission of sin during the Old Testament times? No, they did not…
Ref: Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. KJV
It was the blood of Christ that took away sin…
Ref: Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. KJV
Once and for all. One time for everybody. He died one time on the cross and that was sufficient. And to all those people that died prior to His Crucifixion, He went to them during the three days that He was in the tomb and offered them salvation as well…
Ref: 1st Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
Ref: 1st Peter 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; KJV
Also in Ephesians..
Ref: Ephesians 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? KJV
So, no, blood sacrifices did nothing more than demonstrate that the children of Israel loved the Father enough to take the very best of what they produced and sacrificed it to Him. It was a matter of obedience that brought about favor from our Father. That and not constantly worshiping idols.
Some of these bible scholars, thinking that there will actually be physical sacrifices, also now teach that there will be human beings in the Millennium and even have children born to them.
Unbelievable. The lies of men.
In the Millennium the entire Bible will be taught, Old and New Testaments. Nothing will be taken away from the people and the prophets of that time, that Father used to teach us the truth and give us His laws, commandments and ordinances.
Blood sacrifices in the Millennium will be a memorial, a testament of what used to be done to please our Father. During this time the only thing that Father wants from us is our love. Unconditional love.
On the day that our Lord returns, every human being will change into a spiritual body and flesh and blood, whether is be of humans or animals or birds or fish or whatever, will no longer exist, much less be brought into the spiritual dimension in which our Father and the angels and the saints live.
Flesh and blood cannot enter into the Kingdom of heaven…
Ref: 1st Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. KJV
We come to chapter 44 which is all about the things that will be going on in the Millennium. This is exciting and may answer some questions that you have, so let’s get into it. Remember, we’re all in spiritual bodies now, flesh and blood has been done away with.
Ezekiel 44:1 Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.
This is the east gate, looking toward the Mount of Olives, remember?
Ezekiel 44:2 Then said the Lord unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the Lord, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.
It shall be shut to the people but not the prince. In the 15th chapter of Revelation it states that the temple will be shut for a while, after the saints sing the Song of Moses…
Ref: Revelation 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. KJV
It’s closed because of this thousand-year reign.
Ezekiel 44:3 It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
Only the prince can enter in or exit through this gate. Who is the prince? This is either David or the Messiah Himself. It will probably be David, based on this verse…
Ref: Ezekiel 34:24 And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it. KJV
Out of the root of Jesse would come a Branch and that Branch would be Christ. Will David be there along with the Messiah? I think so.
Ezekiel 44:4 Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord: and I fell upon my face.
Remember that Ezekiel was taken here before, the north gate being the side that Christ is on, His Throne being there. When the Lord entered in, His Shekinah glory filled it completely.
Ezekiel 44:5 And the Lord said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the Lord, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.
You mark it well, Ezekiel, and you tell everyone that there will be Millennial laws and ordinances to abide by during this time.
Ezekiel 44:6 And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
This is speaking to all those souls that did not overcome in this life and are going through this time period.
